Crofties season halts after third straight loss
July 8, 2009

Beecroft’s golden season has come to a screeching halt after the Lions suffered their third loss in as many matches.
The Thornleigh-based side has slipped to third on the Kentwell Cup ladder after a 21-5 loss to last-placed Kings Old Boys.
Crofties are in a mid-season slump made worse by an exodus of players unavailable through either injury or other commitments.
“We always seem to struggle this time of year,” said coach Steve Broughton-Rouse.
