Crofties notch up sixth win

STRONG wind, heavy rain and sloppy underfoot conditions dictated Beecroft Rugby Club’s game plan play tight and use the wind.
It worked well enough for the Crofties First Grade to demolish Woollahra Colleagues 27-5 on Saturday, racking up their sixth win in seven matches and maintaining dominance of the Suburban Rugby First Division.
The win also gave Crofties another bonus point.
With a reshuffled backline due to five-eight Ben Gordon’s absence threough injury, top try scorer Mark Gillespie opened the Crofties’ account in the opening minutes…
