A big congratulations must go out to David Levett (Breakaway #6) and Ben Gordon (Fullback #15) who have been selected in the starting line up for the

NSW Subbies Rep team.

The teams first match is against the NSW Country Cockatoos this Saturday 21st May, 5pm in the curtain raiser to the Waratahs Vs Lions Match at the

SFS. If anyone is planning on heading to the game I encourage you to get there a little earlier to cheer on the lads.

Good luck Dave & Ben.

SOME of New Zealand’s best amateur players will take on the Beecroft club at Headen Park, Thornleigh, on Friday night.

The touring New Zealand Middleweights team face Beecroft’s Whippets, who are their under-85kg equivalents and won the NSW Suburban title last year.

Beecroft president Howard Baynie said there was plenty of excitement about hosting the visitors.

“The strength of 85kg rugby in New Zealand is ahead in leaps and bounds of what it is in Australia,” he said.
