It comes with great sadness and a deep sense of loss to impart that Beecroft Rugby has lost a wonderful friend, loyal clubman and all round nice guy.
Brandan ‘Brandos’ Connell was a well known personality in the rugby club, and for those that were lucky enough to have known him, will remember him as one of the most loyal and genuine guys, with a very infectious chuckle that could be heard across the grounds.
Brandos wasn’t the tallest of blokes, but what he lacked in stature he made up in his larger than life personality and heart. With a warm and open nature, he made friends with everyone he came in contact with, and you can be certain that he would have you laughing or smiling after any conversation.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to his family at this time, who have lost a loving father, husband, son and brother.
Brandos leaves behind his wife Bec and two young children, Abigail and Harry. He was a loving husband, father and provider for his family.
To show your love and support in this time of grief, we ask that you please donate financially to the family’s Go Fund Me account, and help relieve any extra stress in the lead up to Christmas.
We are all going to miss you mate, and we are forever grateful to have had you in our lives.
We consider ourselves family at Beecroft Rugby Club, so if you are struggling internally and need a mate to chat to, please know we are all here for each other.
We encourage you to reach out and start a conversation. Further more you can talk to MensLine Australia on 1300 78 99 78
