After a fantastic season across the board for Beecroft Rugby Club we hope to see everyone back, as well as some new faces, ready to go in 2016 as we move forward into 3rd Division.
Pre-season training will commence in late January at Headen Park, Thornleigh, with more details to come in the new year.
Keep up the fitness in the off-season, and we look forward to seeing you down ready to make our mark in the new division!
In the mean time, keep an eye on our Facebook page for any news and updates.
The game of games is drawing near,
Where Young Guns roar and Cronies fear
The smashing pain, they’ll leave in tears,
As the Young Guns, victorious, leave to cheers.
The gloves are already off, with both teams being finalised and some clear disparity visible in the selections, namely in the number of substitutes allocated to the Under 30’s (It seems the Cronies add a new rule every year to ensure the level playing field slopes in their direction).
The Young Guns have some new fresh faces that will surely help them as they strive to break the drought imposed upon them by the ageing rule-makers, although it should be mentioned that Mike Daff, who took home the Club Player of the Year this season with his brother Chris, has recently ticked over to senility so we can expect a great game this year.
With last years game being won by the Cronies on the buzzer this will surely be another epic battle. So make sure you get down to watch the Young Guns take it home to end the 2015 season.
Kick off: 3:00pm, Saturday 17th Oct
TG Milner Oval, Vimiera Rd, Marsfield

Congratulations to everyone involved throughout the regular season, we have had a fantastic season taking out the minor premierships for 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade.
A big thank you also goes to our travelling 4th graders. It is very difficult to play away from the club on a regular basis and having the uncertainty of not being in a structured competition. You guys tough it out and did a great job! You are now the holders of the biggest winning score in Beecroft history with the 97-0 victory over Epping . 2016 will be different as we have gained promotion to 3rd Grade and a four team competition.
See below for the Finals Squads. We are listing 25 players in each grade to cover reserves. If you are noted down in two squads you will be starting in the earlier grade and reserving for the next. 3rd grade is training on Wednesday nights from 7pm and 1’s and 2’s on Thursday night. On Thursday Tash will be there from 6pm. Any of the 4th graders wanting to run opposition at training please feel free to come down on either night and we are looking for water runners on Saturday so if you are keen put your hand up.
